dakeera.in ("we", "our", "us") operates the website dakeera.in and the accompanying Dakeera Android application (the "Service"). This page explains what information we handle and how we protect your privacy.
Regular visitors to dakeera.in and users of the Dakeera app can browse and read all content without providing any personal information. We do not collect:
Our web server automatically records standard technical information for each request, such as the requested URL, the time of the request, the response status, and the browser's user agent string. These logs may include IP addresses, which are retained temporarily for security and abuse-prevention purposes and then rotated. We do not link these logs to any identity.
The Dakeera Android app caches website pages and PDF files on your device so that recently viewed content is available offline. This data stays on your device and is not shared with us. You can clear it any time from your Android system settings (Settings → Apps → Dakeera → Storage → Clear cache).
The website has a restricted admin area used by dakeera.in staff to upload PDFs and book covers. Only authorised administrators can log in. Regular users of the app never see or use this area.
The Dakeera app requests the following Android permissions. Each is used only for the stated purpose:
The website uses a single technical session cookie for administrator login. This cookie is only created when an administrator signs in. Regular visitors and app users do not receive any cookies.
The site loads a small number of open-source assets from public content delivery networks (CDNs): Bootstrap (jsDelivr), Google Fonts, and the Mozilla PDF.js viewer (jsDelivr). These providers may log the IP address of the request as part of their standard operation but do not receive any personal information from us.
The Service is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. We do not run ads.
The website is served over HTTPS. Administrator passwords are stored on the server and used only for authentication. We take reasonable technical precautions to protect the data we hold.
Because we do not collect personal information from regular users, there is typically nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you are an administrator and would like your account removed, contact us at the email below.
Regular app users do not create accounts and therefore have nothing to delete. Administrator accounts can be deleted on request by emailing contact@dakeera.in. Deletion is completed within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
